Terms and conditions

1. The service

AapliSociety is an app for housing societies: bills, receipts, expenses, dues, members, visitors, complaints, reports and more. The person who registers a society becomes its admin and is responsible for who is added and what roles they get.

2. Free trial

Every new society gets a free trial of 7 days with everything switched on. No card is needed and there is no setup fee.

3. Price and the offer

• ₹30 per flat per month, with a minimum of ₹300 per month, plus GST 18%.
• Launch offer: the first year of a new society (counted from the end of the trial) is 30% off, which is ₹21 per flat per month before GST.
• Paying for a whole year at once is a further 10% off, and for six months a further 5% off.
• There is no setup fee. We will tell you before a price changes; a period you have already paid for is not changed.

4. Invoices and payment

We make the invoice for the next period before your plan ends and tell the admin, secretary and treasurer. Nothing is charged automatically; you pay the invoice inside the app through our payment partners (Razorpay or Cashfree). Every invoice has a GST tax invoice from TechMARK Software Solutions (GSTIN 27APZPK3675B1ZG).

5. When a plan ends

If the trial or a paid plan ends without payment, the society gets a grace period of 15 days in which it can still look at its records but cannot add or change anything (read-only). After that, access is blocked until the invoice is paid. The records are not deleted at once. A society that never took a paid plan and stays unpaid for about 30 days after its trial may be deleted automatically, after warnings to its admin (10 days and 3 days before).

6. Cancelling

You can stop at any time by not paying the next invoice; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Before that you can export all your data (Settings → Society → Export). For anything about refunds, write to us.

7. Your data

The society’s records belong to the society. We use them only to run the service (see the Privacy policy) and we do not sell them. The admin can export them at any time. The society is responsible for the correctness of what its committee and members enter; AapliSociety is a tool for keeping accounts, not accounting, tax or legal advice.

8. Acceptable use

• Use the app only for your society’s real work.
• Do not add people without their knowledge, do not share your PIN, and do not try to see another society’s data or to break or overload the service.
• Do not put unlawful, abusive or false content in complaints, the forum, notices or documents.
• We may block a society or a person who breaks these rules.

9. Availability and responsibility

We work to keep the service running and backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility is limited to the amount the society paid us in the last 12 months.

10. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the new date is shown at the top. Indian law applies, and any dispute belongs to the courts of the place of our office (Bhiwandi, Maharashtra).
